Vodka Sauce

Ingredients

1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1/2 stick butter
8 oz mushrooms
1/2 cup vodka
2 cups heavy cream
1 28oz can crushed tomatoes

Directions

1. Saute onion in a small amount of olive oil, add garlic. Add crushed tomatoes.
2. Melt butter, add quartered mushrooms. Add vodka to mushrooms and reduce.
3. Add heavy cream to mushrooms until scalding.
4. Mix cream mixture into vodka.
5. You know how to make pasta. Add that.
